About Me

I have been teaching for a large part of my adult life. I enjoy talking to young people and helping them grow and better both their written and spoken English.
As a teacher, I want to teach young people to think for themselves to reason and not simply repeat what I say. I believe the mark of an educated person is the ability to question all things and in so doing understand them.

I like a student who is willing to challenge him/herself. Understand that there is always room for improvement. The world is full of books you have yet to read. :)

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:
