About Me
Native English Speaking Tutor

Hello! My name is Elizabeth, and I am a native English speaker from Brisbane, Australia, currently living in the Loire Valley region of France.

I have always been interested in language, communication, and working with people from different backgrounds. Living abroad has strengthened this interest even more, as I experience firsthand what it is like to adapt to a new culture and language.

I offer English tutoring for learners of all ages and levels, with a focus on building confidence, improving communication skills, and helping students feel comfortable using English in real-life situations. My lessons are relaxed, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs and goals.

As I am currently learning French myself (B1 level), I understand the challenges of learning a new language. This allows me to explain things clearly, patiently, and in a way that is easy to understand. I aim to create a comfortable and encouraging environment where students feel confident making mistakes and learning from them.

I have experience babysitting and informally tutoring children in English, where I helped with reading, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational practice. I enjoy making lessons engaging, practical, and enjoyable rather than stressful or overly formal.

Outside of tutoring, I enjoy meeting new people, exploring new places, and learning about different cultures. I am patient, friendly, kind, and enthusiastic, and I genuinely enjoy helping others improve their English and grow in confidence.
