I am Rubén, a recent PhD in Archaeology by the University of Leicester with extensive experience teaching in academia for the last 6 years. I have also taught Spanish to foreign students at from primary and secondary levels and higher education. I have taught American and UK students over the last seven years, whilst pursuing my studies in Spain and in the United Kingdom. I was recently awarded my PhD, through which I developed methodological aspects of teaching different types of public from different backgrounds. My experience to communicate to different types of audiences have been enhanced through my work as a contributing writer for the National Geographic History Magazine.

The main objective of the course is to develop the linguistic skills of writing, spelling and punctuation, necessary for the adequate production of texts. The proposal consists of a theoretical / practical methodology, which is why each class is divided between exposing the content and putting it into practice. Likewise, the information is organized into 5 units: Editorial pillars; Technical aspects of writing; Professional writing of writings; Scientific writing of texts and articles; and Editing and proofreading.

The priority of the class is conversation as a means of teaching. The classes are taught in lessons per module, a total of four, where the students will interact in the development of the classroom, seeking learning in the interdisciplinary context.

In module one and two, the aim is to reach the basic level through everyday conversations that are essential for learning the first words and phrases, enriching the knowledge of grammar. Arriving at modules three and four, the student will feel more confident when speaking, writing, reading and listening to the language through the topics raised.

Basic analysis of current political events. Study of the sociological and economic behavior of countries. Analysis of society, and historiographical study of social behavior. My way of teaching the classes will be dynamic and according to the student's requests.

Art workshops for children and adults focused on different artistic techniques such as drawing, acrylic painting, oil painting, charcoal, collage, watercolor, sculpture, spray painting.
We develop and offer courses both on the different artistic currents and monographs on contemporary artists.

The classes are adapted to the curricular content corresponding to the school year.
Since last year the curriculum is mainly oriented towards competencies, so the classes will focus on this aspect of teaching.
As a methodology I use teaching-learning strategies in which I give priority to the understanding of the content, for which schemes, summaries, mental maps are used and the use of ICT (information and communication technologies) is generalized.

Through a practical and experiential methodology, the course covers acting techniques, body language, text analysis, improvisation, and character development.

The main objective is to develop stage presence, active listening, and emotional truth, based on play and self-confidence and confidence in the group. Contemporary and classical scenes will be covered, with individual and group exercises that allow students to discover their own interpretive language.

No previous experience is necessary; just a desire to explore, learn, and be transformed by theater. At the end of the course, a public performance will be held as part of the training process.
