About Me

I pride myself on being as friendly and approachable as possible with my students. Personal relationships are hugely important to me, and the better the relationship between a student and a teacher, the easier it is to improve one's language skills whilst having fun and forgetting that you're in a class! I've studied French since I was 7 years old and have been exposed to a variety of teaching methods, both from native and non-native teachers. I recognise the importance of tailoring language classes to the needs and abilities of each specific student, so don't be shy! I have just finished a three-month long placement at a collège near Lyon, in which I worked as an English language assistant for the British Council. My role involved helping students with all things English, from grammar to vocabulary and pronunciation, all while speaking as little French as possible.
