I have worked as a private tutor for 6 years giving one-to-one lessons to primary and secondary school students. In the meantime, I became a teacher in the Language School, Kontekst in Wieliczka, Poland where I gained my first experience of one year as a Teaching Assistant conducting lessons to the high standard for students whose age and level of English varied significantly - the courses embraced all levels, from elementary to advanced. The same school made it is possible for me to work with adults who aimed to improve their language skills in the area of international business and travelling. Finally, I taught and developed myself as well as designed courses on literature, creative writing, phonics and grammar for over 7 months in Hong Kong working for one of the top language centers Mentorhood Ltd,

I have just finished my master's degree in Language Sciences at the Lumière Lyon 2 University, in the Language Sciences course (validated with an average of 18).

I did my BA in Comparative Linguistics and Literature, and Applied Foreign Languages at Galatasaray University, the only French-speaking university in Turkey (Mention very well, validation of the university in 5th position).

I worked for two years (2017--2019) in a language center (FLE course and English course). I did internships in public high schools in order to obtain my pedagogical training.

I did all my education in English (English school + English high school). Thus, I have been giving English lessons to students of all ages since 2010. Recently, I have prepared students for the PIPPLET and TOEIC exams. Since 2019, I have students from CM1 to 1ère that I follow and to whom I give additional lessons as tutoring.

I also learn Turkish to French people since I live in Lyon.

* Graduated from Dalf C1- 2016

I'm Clémentine, a journalism master's student in Lyon. A native French speaker, I have a deep love for my language. Learning and sharing it is one of my greatest passions.

Do you need to acquire the basics of French, English, Spanish, or Latin, whether for work, study, travel, or to educate yourself? I can, if necessary, adapt to all situations and provide courses:
- French (native language)
- English (level C1)
- Spanish (level B2)
- Latin (beginner and intermediate level)

Daughter of an associate professor of French at the university teaching FLE (French as a Foreign Language), I have solid knowledge in pedagogy as well as in grammar, conjugation, spelling and syntax in French.
> I got 19 in the written part and 18 in the oral part of my French baccalaureate in 2020, before obtaining my baccalaureate in 2021, with honors.
> I studied Spanish and English in high school in a Euro class, allowing me to strengthen my knowledge of the language through mathematics and physics in English.
> I also studied Latin for 5 years until my final year of high school, both the language and Greek and Roman mythology.
> I've been studying political science for three years in France at Sciences Po, an international school focused on foreign languages. I'm continuing to deepen my foreign language skills in graduate school.
> My many experiences with children, adolescents and also adults speaking a foreign language (English, Spanish, Arabic, etc.) have allowed me to acquire a method centered around the student and their needs.

Whether it's grammar lessons, practical exercises, or learning how to hold a conversation, you can count on my skills to help you progress in practicing modern languages and understanding our interconnected world.

With 4 years of teaching experience and having grown up in the United States, I offer English courses designed to meet the needs of post-baccalaureate students preparing for an exchange abroad, as well as professionals wishing to strengthen their language skills in an international context.

My approach is resolutely hands-on: each session focuses on practical language practice through real-life scenarios, oral exchanges, targeted exercises and a variety of materials.

My method aims to establish learning habits tailored to each profile. Whether visual, written, or reading-based approaches, instruction is personalized based on each learner's preferences and the most effective memorization method. This adaptation optimizes comprehension, fluency, and knowledge retention.

The objective: to enable each student or professional to acquire a natural, effective and lasting mastery of English, to evolve with confidence in an English-speaking environment.

Process Engineer (Chemistry).
I offer English and Arabic lessons as well as homework help, tailored to the level, needs and objectives of each student.

I have already had the opportunity to accompany children of different ages and levels.
I also worked as an English tutor at the university for four years. This experience allowed me to develop a real knack for individual support, with very different profiles and levels.

I can help you learn or improve your English or Arabic, work on grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension, improve your speaking skills, or simply gain more confidence in the language. I also offer homework help, with explanations tailored to the student's level and support to better understand lessons and develop effective study habits.

I adapt to each student's pace and above all, I try to make the lessons simple, clear, and enjoyable. The goal is not just to do the exercises, but to understand, progress, and gradually become more independent.

The courses are open to children, teenagers and adults, from beginner to advanced level.

I primarily offer in-person lessons in Lyon 3 and Villeurbanne. Online lessons via videoconference are also available. I generally prefer an initial in-person lesson to get to know the student, understand their needs, and develop a personalized learning method. We can then continue in person or online, depending on preferences and availability.

I am bilingual in French and English and I had the opportunity to study for several years in a boarding school in England. I was therefore immersed in the language on a daily basis, which allowed me to develop a very good level of fluency in both spoken and written English.

I offer courses tailored to each individual's level and objectives.

For those who primarily want to improve their speaking skills, I can provide total immersion courses, with only exchanges in English, obviously adapting the vocabulary and difficulty to the student's level.

For beginners or those who prefer to progress more gradually, I can also alternate between French and English in order to explain concepts, work on vocabulary, grammar and comprehension as we go along.

The main idea is to adapt to each person and to create classes in which they feel comfortable so they can progress without pressure!

Does English seem complicated in class or do you not dare to speak up? Don't panic! This course has been specially designed for middle school students and complete beginners who want to start again on a solid foundation, without stress and in a good mood.

Together, we'll transform English into a living, easy-to-understand tool. No more boring rote learning: I use concrete examples (TV series, music, games, everyday life) to help you retain vocabulary and grammar naturally.

What we will do during the sessions:

Unlocking oral skills: learning to pronounce and make simple sentences with confidence.

Mastering the middle school curriculum: reviewing lessons not understood in class, preparing for tests and succeeding in homework.

Tailor-made method: progress at your own pace with interactive and fun exercises.
