Hello,

I am a second-year student at the University of Southern California and minoring in French. I have French grandparents, and I have visited the country numerous times. Additonally, I have undergone two language learning programs in the Country, one in Aix-en-Provence and the other in Dijon. I have obtained a level C1 placement in French writing and grammar, which demonstrates by European standards that I am bilingual in the language.

Besides having taken French in college, I also recently took French in high school for three years. For any begginer-level students, I know what it is like to be in your shoes. With consistent practice, daily grammar lessons, writing exercises, and daily conversations for a period of 20 minutes, you will make tremendous gains in a period of only 3-6 motnhs. Any A1 or A2 students, I gauruntee that I can place you into level B1 or B2 within the 3-6 month time span.

About Me

- I have French grandparents and I wanted to learn the language through formal education so I can continue my cultural heritages and traditions.

- I am at level C1 in French grammar and writing composition, demonstrating that I have a bilingual level in the langauge.

- I went on a two month long language exchange program in Aix-en-Provence France, and I still continue to talk to my host brother from three years ago.

This class is dedicated to learning and perfecting the French language, for everyone from the age of 6. I use a method adapted to each apprentice, an immersion in the world of the French language through a discovery of French literature and poetic texts in order to apply the grammatical and spelling rules of our beautiful language.

French has never been an easy language, and it’s always courageous to challenge yourself by learning it! I'm here to help you on this journey.

I’ve taught people from many different backgrounds in the past—from full classes in middle school to private lessons for adults and young children.

We’ll start by understanding your goals for learning French—whether academic, professional, or personal. From there, we’ll build a personalized program together, including oral practice, grammar exercises (yes, we can’t skip those!), and plenty of conversations to tackle one of the most challenging parts: pronunciation!

I like doing regular check-ins with my students so we can keep improving our lessons together.
