With major camera brands shifting their product focus to accessibility within the last few years, now more then ever is the perfect time to learn the craft of Digital photography. This class will be the foundation for all the knowlage and skill you will need to purchase, use, and master using a digital camera in 2025.
We will go over the basics including grammar and vocabulary slowly developing a strong lexicon of photgraphy terms. Also covered will be the basic operation of the camera as well as going over the many different functions and buttons that will be used to take pictures. Included in this will be the different kinds of camera types, lens types, camera brands, and what might be the best fit for the student
We will also cover the different ways and types of photography including sports, portraits, travel, and product photography and how to better refine certain skills to be used in these fields.
By the end of the classes the student will be able to name and easily operate all the different buttons and functions on the camera as well as cultivating an introductory body of work to be shown to others, as well as having a deep knowledge and understanding of cameras, brands, and how to hone their skills as a digital artisan.

Extra information
Instructor will provide the gear (camera, batteries, lenses, SD cards). Students are welcome to bring their own cameras. Students may purchase their own camera but no required for class
