In this class the students will learn the basics of Italian. Depending on the individual level, specific classes of conversation will be provided.
For beginners, an introduction on the sounds of the letters and to the proper pronounce will be provided. Beginners will get basic writing and reading skills (e.g. use of accents, how to conjugate verbs in different forms at the present, how to read a simple text with the correct pronounce).
At the intermediate level, the students will learn to read more complex texts (with increasing difficulty) and to answer questions related to them. It is expected that at the end of the intermediate classes, the students will be able to distinguish between different verbal forms and to conjugate verbs at the past, the present and the future. It is also expected that they will be able to use those forms for writing more complex texts. Listening classes will be provided as well.
Advanced Classes are specifically intended for students who are already became used to the sounds of the language, that already master the writing/reading skills and that want to improve their listening and speaking skills.

About Me
I am currently a Postdoctoral fellow at the engineering physics department, Polytechnique Montreal. I got my Ph.D. Degree in engineering physics in Dec 2021. During my PhD project I worked in the context of Sustainable (Green) Organic Electronics. The aim was to study structure-properties relationships in bio-sourced, nature-inspired materials to rationally design and develop biocompatible, and possibly biodegradable, technologies to alleviate the footprint of the electronics sector.

During my career, I have learned that the methodology and the approach to science have to be properly shown to the students in order to let them understand and succeed.

I am really patient and curious and I think that the secret to succeeding in science is asking ourselves questions.

I am glad to put all my experience in the service of the students to make them able to independently solve problems when approaching science.

I am currently a RF Antenna Passive inter modulation (PIM) test scientist, QC, Canada. Previously a Postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at the Department of Engineering Physics at Polytechnique Montréal.
I got my PhD in engineering physics at Polytechnique Montreal in December 2021.
I completed my BSc studies in Physics in 2013 and subsequently, I got my MSc degree in Physics in 2015 (Physics for Instrumentation and Technology Program, University of Tor Vergata, Rome Italy).
I started to give private classes (Physics and Math) to younger students in 2008 when completing my pre-university studies.
Back then, and, afterward, during my graduate studies, I had the opportunity to improve my tutoring skills by helping college students and undergrads to prepare for tests, exams, as well as writing research proposals and thesis.
Teaching is my passion and I will be glad to help the students to clear their doubts and let them overcome the obstacles that quite often pop up when facing scientific subjects. My primary objective is to make the students autonomous by showing them the proper methodology to study and succeed in science.
