We will structure our work based on the student’s request. If the goal is to improve school grades and gain a better understanding of the school curriculum in mathematics, we will review the topics covered in class during our lessons. We will focus on the areas that are most challenging and unclear. Throughout the lesson, we will go through typical tasks from the classroom.
If the student wants to improve their general understanding of mathematics, we will create a personalized lesson plan and follow it. The individualized plan will include topics of varying complexity and from different areas of mathematics.

I am a master of education at King's College London and have twelve years experience working in primary and prep schools. Lessons vary in length from 30-120 minutes depending on preference. Usually cover one or two topics per lesson to ensure a solid understanding. Ideally you should come into the lesson with an idea of topics you wish to review and preferably some questions you are currently working on. Questions can be provided. We will start by consolidating your knowledge on the topic with examples and then progress to supervised exam style questions or, if preferred, jump straight into some questions you are working on. The lessons are for all ages and can cover A-level, GCSE or anything below.

I’m a 2nd year Mathematics student at a London University happy to help others with their inquiry on questions and problems. I’ll be giving my tips and advice when I was in a similar position similar to yours when I was doing my GCSEs and A-Levels, or watch how my thought process and what I’m thinking whilst I do an exam!
