French lessons with a native speaker (Sorbonne & LSE): conversation, exam prep & homework help
From 68 C$ /h
I'm a native French speaker from the South of France, currently studying for a Master's in Politics & Communication at the London School of Economics (LSE).
Before coming to the UK, I spent two years in Hypokhâgne/Khâgne, France's most demanding preparatory program in literature and humanities, and was shortlisted for the entrance exams of the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon, one of France's most selective institutions. I then studied History and English at La Sorbonne in Paris, followed by a Master's in Political Science at the University of St Andrews.
Every lesson is built around your goal:
-Conversation & fluency: relaxed, engaging discussions to help you speak natural, everyday French with confidence (adults and children)
-Exam preparation: GCSE, A-level, IB, DELF/DALF, with structured lessons, practice exercises and mock oral exams
-Writing skills: grammar, written expression, essay methodology
-Homework help & school support: for pupils in British schools or French schools in London (Lycée Charles de Gaulle, etc.)
I currently teach students with very different profiles, from young children learning through conversation and games to a teacher preparing for the DELF alongside her full-time job. I adapt the pace, the materials and the method to each person.
Lessons online or in person in Chelsea, Kensington and the surrounding areas. Message me to tell me about your goals and we'll build a plan together!

About Me
Hello! I'm Inès, a 22-year-old French native speaker from the South of France, now living in London where I'm studying at the LSE.
I love sharing my language and culture, and I believe the best way to learn French is to actually use it: speaking from the very first lesson, in a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere, while building solid foundations in grammar and vocabulary.
My academic background (French prépa, Sorbonne, St Andrews, LSE) taught me how to work in a structured and efficient way, and that's what I bring to my lessons: clear explanations, a plan adapted to your goals, and regular feedback so you can see your progress.
I enjoy teaching all kinds of students: children discovering French through games and conversation, teenagers preparing for exams, and adults who want to gain confidence and fluency.
In French: originally from the South of France, I also offer homework help and academic support for students in French schools in London, with a real mastery of the methods of the French system (commentary, essay, work organization).
