Italian is my native languages, I have started teaching italian when I was at Uni in Coventry. Here I had the chance to practice teaching for a various of different students, from student to adult, from european to asian students. This helped me learn to overcome any difficulty that comes with teaching in a mixed class.

Before starting my teaching experience I have attended a training course which was focused in teaching using only the language without translating. Implication helps students understand and remember better as they have to find the rule by themselves instead of simply reading it through a grammar book. I am native italian but I am fluent in French and Spanish. I have an undergraduate bachelor in Applied Languages with Spanish and I study french since the age of three, hence I have also experience in teaching spanish and french.

I have taught Italian, History and Philosophy for many years in the Italian State schools. Now I am attending a PhD at KCL..
In my classes I can meet the requests of both the student who wants to practice the language in a guided conversation, an the student who wants a more formal course where he/she can learn proper grammatical structures.
In both cases , depending on the availability of the student, I can assign homework , which I will correct during the following lesson.

This class aims to make individuals practice their italian, since most students complain about not having the opportunity to practice speaking the language. My idea would be to provide conversation-like speaking and also learn some new vocabulary in order to enrich the individual's knowledge of the language. Suggest italian movies, italian music or anything that might interest the student in order to make learning fun!

Whether you have been learning Italian for some time or have begun out of boredom during lockdown, chances are you may want to test your skills and get better at conversation.

I'm a PhD student at UCL and I have lived in London for the past seven years. As I have no formal training in teaching languages this would not be an Italian class, but simply an informal, relaxed way to improve your conversation.

We can meet in person (Hackney) or over Zoom/Skype/Whatsapp (we are all familiar with all of those by now!) and have a chat. I will help you with vocabulary, pronunciation and grammar, with any homework you may have to do or correct stuff you have written. It is all very flexible and lead by your needs, desires and curiosity.

Are you studying Italian but want to expand your vocabulary and conversation skills? Talking to a native Italian speaker is the best way to improve your language skills! I'm 24 and was born in Italy (Siena, Tuscany, to be more specific) and move to London three years ago. I'm a performer and dance teacher, but over the years I have also worked as a teaching assistant in primary schools, so I have experience working with children as well as adults.
I graduated high school in Italy with the highest marks 100/100, specialising in classical studies especially Italian language and literature.
I'm willing to help students or Italian learners of every level to improve their skills and level of confidence and even help in preparation for tests or examinations.

The Pasta Making lesson will consist of making the dough and then shaping it into different types of pasta. You can choose between egg dough or semolina dough (vegan), and we can decide together which filling, shape, natural colouring or condiment you may prefer.
The one described above is my signature course, but I also offer customised courses and am happy to arrange cooking classes on a variety of dishes.

The class can be online or I can come to your house with all of the necessary material.

This class is for everyone who wants to learn how to speak Italian. Everyone is welcomed to this class!
We will go from the basic grammar to a more advanced level of knowledge untill you will know even how to talk with your hands...as a proper native!
