As a PhD Candidate at the University of Lisbon and a previous General knowledge teacher in Barcelona and sports teacher in Lebanon, I can offer private lessons for kids who want to deeper their knowledge and skills in the areas of geography, political sciences, sociology and world History. The private lessons can take place at your own location anywhere in Lisbon. The lessons are also intended for everyone thinking of enrolling in Social Sciences fields later on in the University where I can introduce multidisciplinary subjects to the student so as he forms an idea where he is headed to. As for 10-14 year old kids the lessons will be more interactive and informative using a variety of methods, quizzes, video analyses, exploration and conversational dialogue about selected topics. I offer classes on History, Geography, and Political Science, with over 11 years' of experience in these subjects, both professionally and academically. I hold Bachelor's Degrees in both History and Political Science (from the University of Florida), as well as a Master's in Political Science, specifically European Politics (from KU Leuven). I have extensive experience in a wide range of historical and political subjects and have always had a keen interest in history and the social sciences. Additionally, previously I have been a journalist (dealing with Competition Law) and currently am an editor working on a wide variety of subjects for organizations such as the UNHCR and Goethe Institut, among others. I am capable of teaching and lecturing on numerous historical and political events and periods in history, with myself having specialized in European history, American history, African history, as well as the Medieval period and Antiquity.
