My maths lessons are designed around the student — their goals, their pace, and the areas they find challenging. I genuinely care about helping students feel more confident in maths and creating a space where they feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning without feeling pressured.
I have over five years of teaching experience working with students of different ages and abilities. I graduated from the University of Warwick with First-Class Honours in MMORSE (Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics and Economics), and during my time at university I tutored mathematics to UK students online and supported younger students as a mentor.
I believe that every student can make progress in maths with the right support and encouragement. Often, difficulties come from small gaps in understanding that can build up over time. Rather than simply moving on, I take the time to understand where a student is struggling and work through those areas patiently, step by step.
My lessons are interactive and tailored to each student. Depending on their needs, we might work on school topics, strengthen foundations, practise problem-solving, prepare for exams, or work through questions they find particularly difficult. I always aim to explain things in a clear and simple way and encourage students to think for themselves, so that they gradually become more independent and confident.
Most importantly, I want students to feel that they are supported and that it is completely okay not to know something yet. I want them to leave each lesson feeling that they have learned something, made progress, and perhaps even enjoyed maths a little more than they expected!

About Me
Alongside my academic and professional background, I enjoy music, exercise, and travelling. I was also the co-founder of the first university Emotional Intelligence Society in the UK, which reflects my interest in personal development, communication, and supporting others.
