I am a qualified educator, holding a diploma in education obtained in Luxembourg, and currently pursuing studies in special education in Belgium. I have a passion for teaching and offer private lessons for beginners in French, English, and Luxembourgish. My mother tongue is Dutch, I come from Hasselt. I lived in Liège for 7 years, at home we speak French, Dutch and a little German. This academic year I followed a course at the UCLL college to become a teacher of FRENCH FLE for secondary education. Here I learned about the didactic approach. Until now I only had experience as a teacher of Dutch and language coach Dutch for non-native speakers. Now I can also provide support in the other direction.

I would like to give English lessons. I much prefer practical application to simple exercises. Generally, I start the lesson with a short conversation unrelated to the lesson (how was the week, for example), and then, depending on the students' requests, I begin the lesson itself. This might involve games, reading exercises, or listening activities. I have a high school diploma (BAC) with a European English option (so I'm at level B2). I also lived in Sweden for a year, which allowed me to speak exclusively English and learn a great deal about the language.
