About Me
Nice to meet you, I'm Nicolas, I'm...
A passionate actor and teacher, he graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Bachelor's and Master's degrees) in Theatre and Speech Arts, and holds a teaching qualification (ESAHR, secondary, higher) from the same institution and a teaching aptitude scale (501) obtained at the Saint-Laurent Institute.
I started theatre at the age of 5, I spent among other things 10 years at the Royal University Theatre of Liège (TURLG), 5 years at the Grétry Academy, 5 years at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master and Agrégation).
My artistic background is eclectic, I am curious and like to try everything: eloquence competitions and prizes, interdisciplinary projects (music - singing), directing, dubbing, puppetry, writing, speech therapy, animation, cinema/short films, cabaret/singing, international theatre, assistant directing, etc.
My teaching career:
A first three-month replacement in an academy, as a teacher of Dramatic Art and Declamation, at the Grétry Academy, in Liège (2024); a year of teaching an adult group at the Beyne-Heusay Academy (Liège) with 2 shows during the academic year (2025); three interim positions at the Waremme Academy and two at the Huy Conservatory (ESAHR and HA) (2025, 2026); numerous holiday theatre workshops for 4 to 12 year olds in ASBL Miss Betty (Embourg, Beaufays, Liège, Belgium).
I was a substitute teacher at the Huy Conservatory and the Royal Athenaeum during the 2025-2026 academic year.
I am currently a theatre teacher (multidisciplinary children/teens/adults), declamation teacher (adults) at the Chênée Academy (official, ESAHR), at the Ampsin Academy ("Alliance des Arts" ASBL), within the framework of the Enki School/Enki Vox ASBL singing school, as well as on my own account in the framework of annual weekly workshops for beginner and intermediate adults ("Appulse Créations" ASBL).
Besides the technical aspect, vocal coaching is also a great source of inspiration for me.
After undergoing several years of vocal rehabilitation (speech therapy + final project - Master's degree from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels) which was decisive for the continuation of my artistic career, I make it a point of honor to transmit the richness of my sensitive and technical discoveries (anatomical, theoretical, practical) to help anyone wishing to learn more about their vocal instrument, how to take care of it and understand it.
I see pedagogy as active support, a dialogue, helping the learner to get in touch with themselves and overcome their limits, using motivators such as pleasure, sharing, playfulness and high standards.
So, we'll meet soon!?
