My in-home piano lessons follow a solid method forged by extensive teaching experience. I strive to tailor your journey to your dreams: mastering the classics from Haydn to Liszt, simply accompanying your voice, jazz/blues improvisation, etc.

By default, my method is structured in two distinct parts addressed together or separately:

- CLASSICAL PIANO: the teaching method adopted here corresponds to that provided at the conservatory. Music scores have a fundamental importance. This requires learning music theory using several supports: one dedicated to reading notes in isolation, an application also dedicated to this work and a practical manual. Technique is also important for the good practice of classical music pieces, which is why you follow a whole progression of exercises designed to make you work on articulation, velocity, precision of touch. If the classical repertoire is demanding and rich, we can also play more popular music: films, video games, variety, ...

PIANO JAZZ/BLUES/POP/VARIETY

We work to make you a proactive player in your musical journey. This generally comes after a classical piano course. However, not everyone necessarily has the time or the desire to achieve excellence, especially for adult beginners or even more advanced players. You choose the music covered and develop your ear and your knowledge of the keyboard (simple concepts of harmony at the same time). The repertoire corresponds to current music. We can even move towards improvisation and improvement in this area for students already introduced to jazz or bues in particular.
Intimidating and then quickly liberating, this approach allows you to develop a creative and personal musical practice. You are then able to improvise, compose, or even play with other musicians.
This approach is based around 4 main axes.

Have you always dreamed of being able to express yourself with the beautiful sound of a piano? Of producing the most beautiful pages of music with your fingertips?

With 10 years of experience teaching private lessons, 4 years of teaching at the Vienna Conservatory (Austria), and 30 years of piano playing, I look forward to sharing, with kindness, patience, and high standards, all the necessary tools to develop your love of the piano. Lessons can take place at my home in the 17th arrondissement on a Kawai grand piano, or at your home.

The courses can be in:
- French
- English
- Spanish
With musical vocabulary adapted to each language, of course!

Trained at the Conservatoire National Supérieur Musique et Danse de Lyon, the Jaroussky Academy in Paris, and the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien, I have developed a demanding artistic career, nourished by the French and Viennese musical tradition. I also taught for four years at the Vienna Conservatory (Austria).

My work as a concert performer has led me to play in prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall in New York, the Musikverein in Vienna, La Seine Musicale in Boulogne-Billancourt, the Dvorák Hall in Prague, the Kaunas Philharmonic in Lithuania, as well as in numerous festivals in Europe and Japan.
You may even have heard me on France Musique!

This experience directly informs my teaching, giving each student a concrete understanding of interpretation and stage work.

My teaching method is based primarily on the joy of playing, gradual progression, and adapting to each student. The goal is to make the piano accessible, regardless of the starting level, while developing genuine musical independence.

Each lesson begins with a quick review of what has been learned and any difficulties encountered since the previous session. We then work in a structured way: technical exercises (hand position, coordination, rhythm), reading sheet music, and learning pieces chosen according to the student's level and musical tastes.

I place great importance on understanding rather than simply reproducing. The student learns to decode music, understand rhythm, and develop their musical ear, which allows them to progress more quickly and sustainably.

The lessons are flexible and adapt to each student's needs, whether it's a beginner child, a teenager looking to improve, or an adult wanting to return to playing the piano. The approach remains supportive, motivating, and without undue pressure.

Between lessons, I offer simple and effective study tips to ensure steady progress. The goal is to build a solid foundation while keeping the joy of playing at the heart of the learning process.

*///*Piano Lessons (Accompaniment)*///*

For those who are interested, I offer lessons on piano accompaniment for singing.
You'll discover the basics of piano and chords (international notation, so no music theory) so you can (eventually) accompany yourself on any song in the world just by reading a chord chart! And that's pretty cool, isn't it? ;)

If you have any questions about the courses, teaching methods, or anything else, feel free to send me a message ;)

Looking forward to working together!

My approach: a gentle and structured teaching method, focused on the joy of playing as much as on technical fundamentals (reading sheet music, rhythm, hand position, basic harmony, ear training).
