About Me

Diplômé en mesures physiques en banlieue parisienne, j'ai eu plusieurs expériences en cours particuliers à différents niveaux scolaires, notamment en Mathématiques Physiques au niveau collège et lycée, mais aussi en lecture d'arabe pour les débutants.
Depuis un bon moment je n'arrête pas de penser que le plus important dans cette vie est d'acquérir la science et de la transmettre, c'est une sorte d'héritage qui ne finit jamais...

Graduated in physical measurements in the suburbs of Paris, I had a lot of experience in private lessons at different school levels, especially in Physical Mathematics at college and high school level, but also reading Arabic for beginners.
For quite a while I keep thinking that the most important thing in this life is to acquire science and pass it on, it's a kind of legacy that never ends...

Education

Baccalauréat S spécialité physique-chimie mention très bien (moyenne: 16,76).
DUT Mesures Physiques à l'IUT d'Orsay, classé grade A (parmi la tête de promotion).

Experience / Qualifications

Actuellement je donne des cours à des enfants en classe de 3eme en vue de la préparation de leur brevet.
Dernièrement j'ai accompagné certains lycéens dans la préparation de leur baccalauréat.
J'ai aussi fait des cours de Français à des étudiants étrangers, et des cours de lecture d'arabe (Coran) à des débutants.

I am a language teacher and linguist, originally from Rabat. Moroccan Darija is my mother tongue and I have been teaching languages since 2012.

My courses are aimed at people who wish to learn to understand and speak the darija actually used in Morocco, whether to communicate with their family or spouse, prepare for a stay in Morocco, live there, work with Moroccans or simply discover the Moroccan language and culture.

A method adapted to your level:
Each course is structured according to your level, pace, and objectives.

If you are a beginner, we will progress gradually, starting with the most useful vocabulary and structures for everyday life.

If you already know Darija, we will focus more on conversation, listening comprehension, vocabulary, Moroccan expressions and fluency.

My background in language sciences also allows me to explain the logic of the language: word construction, conjugation, pronunciation, differences between Darija and Standard Arabic, as well as some particularities specific to Moroccan speech.

You will learn, in particular, to:
- introduce yourself and talk about yourself;
- understand and participate in everyday conversations;
- communicate with family and friends;
- use the most frequent verbs and expressions;
- ask questions and answer them naturally;
- to gradually understand Moroccans when they speak;
- to enrich your vocabulary and improve your pronunciation.

Oral practice plays an important role in my courses. We work with dialogues, concrete situations, and exchanges tailored to your needs.

I can also provide you with exercises and materials to continue practicing between sessions.

The lessons are fully personalized and can be explained in French, Spanish or Arabic, according to your preference.

Beginners, intermediate and advanced are welcome.

If you wish to learn Moroccan Darija in a structured way while developing natural communication skills, I would be happy to assist you.

I hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and currently work as a post-doctoral researcher in the Aerospace Engineering Faculty at TU Delft (Delft University of Technology).

My extensive teaching experience covers a wide range of engineering courses, including:

- Mathematics: algebra, linear algebra, probability, calculus, differential equations, intellectual math, and advanced engineering mathematics.

- Mechanical Engineering: Statics, Dynamics, Mechanics of materials, Mechanical design, control, vibration, Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Heat transfer, Engineering drawing, Applied Mechanics, Composite Structures, Flight, Machine Elements, Manufacturing, 3D printing, and more.

- Physics: mechanics, momentum and energy, electricity, charge and current, electric and magnetic fields, waves, particle physics, nuclear decay, astrophysics, cosmology, oscillations, etc.

- CAD/CAM Software: Autocad, Solidworks.

- Mechanical Design Packages: ANSYS, APDL programming, ABAQUS, MATLAB, Symbolic MATLAB, LS-DYNA.

My research and teaching interests are diverse, including:
• Additive manufacturing
• Mechanical metamaterials
• Acoustical metamaterials
• Electromagnetic metamaterials
• Aeroacoustics
• Soft matter and soft robotics
• Fatigue and fracture mechanics
• Experimental mechanics
• Multiscale numerical modelling
• Biomaterials
• Porous materials
• Manufacturing of medical devices and implants
• Deep learning
• Image processing
• Topology optimization
• Origami and Kirigami structures
• Self-folding and self-assembly structures
• Tissue engineering
• Permeability in porous materials
• Fluid-Solid Interaction

I understand that not all teachers excel in teaching Engineering and Mathematics courses and explaining their importance to students. Courses with strong mathematical backgrounds may become boring for students who lack a solid mathematical basis. To address this, I take a student-centered approach, starting from the basics to actively engage all students, including those with weaker mathematical backgrounds. I also provide practical examples to demonstrate the real-world significance of what they are learning, inspiring and fostering their interest in the subject matter.

If you have any additional questions before starting a class, please feel free to ask me. I am here to assist! :)
