English language learning and exam preparation - Lens

Introduction

I have been bilingual since my early childhood (English father, French mother; maximum BULATS score: level C2). I like helping others and speaking foreign languages. I am convinced that you can learn a language while having fun or talking. I offer role-playing, board games, chatting about anything and everything, while providing you with vocabulary, English expressions, grammar and spelling, and of course tips to improve your accent and your pronunciation!
I am 30 years old and I have a degree in textile engineering. I have created and run several businesses but today I focus on courses at my home and online, so that I can devote more time to my children and also because the education and training of the human beings who live with me. surrounding has taken on a new dimension for me since I had children.
Thanks to my engineering degree and my scientific studies, I can also help you in all scientific subjects in tutoring: primary - college - high school.

My Methodology

I adapt according to the needs of the student. The goal is not to force, to remain in the pleasure of speaking. I use all the means that can help me to make the student speak, based on his centers of interest: hobbies, series, films, readings, video games, board games, theater, sports, etc.
With underage students, I focus almost all my efforts on the game: we play for fun and make the learning effort less painful for the brain. The brain feels pleasure in learning, so it comes in easier and faster!

Here is the structure of a "typical" course:
- I welcome the student and we spend a few minutes talking about classic welcome questions "how are you? what have you done since our last meeting?" etc
- Then, I spend some time with the student to answer his questions about the lessons in general and the previous lesson.
- Then we move on to a game (society, role, words, etc.) for minors
- We can then talk about a subject of interest (leisure, cinema, reading, news, etc.)
- We conclude with the student's remarks concerning the lesson that has just taken place, so that I can adapt even better to his needs the next time.

My classes are for all ages, from 2 to 99!

Being bilingual and a fan of reading (novels and literature), I have a very good academic level of English and French. All the students I have taught so far are all very satisfied and always come out of my house with a smile, with remarks like:
"I didn't see the time pass!" or even "I had fun!" and "for the first time I had fun learning words in English!".
