Hello ! I am a French university exchange student in Bergen. I would love to introduce you to the French language and/or help you progress on subjects of your choice (especially subjects requiring specific vocabulary: cooking, music, transport, science, sport...). The main interest is also to emphasize oral expression and comprehension, which is why it would be interesting for each lesson to have the opportunity to exchange as much as possible orally. Classes can take place in video as well as in person in a cafe / library in the city, I can also come to your home if it is accessible by public transport. For practical reasons for you and me, I will not be able to welcome people to my home. Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart. I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Learn the schedules by heart. 2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both students and adults who want to learn the Latin language or deepen their knowledge without time-consuming detours through the insanities of school methods which do not produce results. Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning in a positive state of mind. I offer individual or group Latin lessons (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive sciences and in particular historical linguistics.
