I've had the privilege of performing poetry alongside jazz musicians, blending the rhythm of words with the energy of live music, creating truly immersive and evocative experiences. My theatre productions have brought together storytelling, dance, poetry and rap to create hilarious and heartbreaking narratives that left audiences buzzing. I draw on all of this experience in my classes. My workshops are designed to help you explore your creative literary practice in innovative ways, whether you're a beginner or a seasoned writer looking to refine your craft.

In addition to my performances, I've taught poetry workshops in schools and creative writing at the prestigious Leeds Playhouse. I’ve worked with diverse groups of students and writers of all ages. I specialise in creating a supportive and creative space for you to experiment with your voice, learn from classic and contemporary works, and gain practical skills to elevate your writing.

I specialise in tutoring KS3/GCSE English for girls. I teach key essay writing and text analysis skills to help students prepare for their exams. I promote an engaging, enthusiastic environment with little homework unless specifically requested (e.g., in the case of a home education establishment) and periodic progress reports if required. I also offer extensive online support for out of official lesson hours. I have over a decade of experience, have a BA Open Degree heavily featuring English and have tutored both individual students and in home educations establishments. My goal is to help students learn in the way that works for them, away from the pressures of the classroom.

Lessons for British students are provided for KS1 and KS2 students, as well as 11+ exam preparation. again lessons are tailored for the individuals needs as well as focussing on topics they enjoy. Lessons for younger learners focus on learning through fun and finding what they need support with and teaching techniques that work for the individual. Again, young learners are reassured that our philosophy is 'mistakes help us learn'.
