Electric bass lessons in all styles for young and old
From 128.59 C$ /h
Student at the Haute école de musique in Lausanne in classical viola, I play electric bass and I perform in several groups (baix/paillette 121/Aggro Topings)
My electric bass lessons are based above all on the musical tastes and desires of the learner. I also like to look at effects pedals to optimize the sound I'm looking for.
My favorite genres are punk/progressive rock/math rock/experimental.
It is possible to take lessons at home (I have two amps available).

Extra information
If necessary, I can arrange to provide a bass during lessons.

About Me
Naomi started playing the viola at the age of 7. She later joined the Boulogne Billancourt conservatory in DEM (musical studies diploma) in the class of Sébastien Levy, then the Aubervilliers La Courneuve conservatory in CPES (preparatory course for higher studies) in the class of Marie Lèbre. At the same time, she began playing the guitar as an autodidact and very early on, she developed an obsession with the composer, saxophonist John Zorn and his musical experiments which pushed her to start composing.
At 18, she finally enrolled at the electric bass conservatory with Olivier Lété and, a year later, joined a DEM course dedicated to creative music. She then began to practice free improvisation, which opened up new possibilities for her in the use of her instruments, both in the search for timbres and in extended techniques close to contemporary music.
As part of her studies, she has the opportunity to work with the Van Kuijk quartet and the Voce quartet, Garth Knox, Philippe Pannier, Joëlle Léandre, Sarah Murcia and Johan Renard.
In 2020, she decided to join forces with three other eclectic musicians and co-created the project "Paillette 121", an unpredictable jazz-rock group with Klezmer and Arab-Andalusian sounds.
In 2021, she moved to Lausanne for her classical viola studies at the Haute école, not without giving primary importance to her work on bass and composition.
In 2023-24 she won two prizes on electric bass with the duo Baix and at the same time began a master's degree in musical pedagogy at the Haute école de musique in Lausanne.
