About Me
I was born in a town called Skipton, North Yorkshire. So naturally I've a Northern UK accent. But having taught some twenty years, I typically speak slowly and enunciate clearly.

I very much believe in keeping things as simple as possible, so as to aid practical application. Too much detail early on can overwhelm, and damage confidence. Once a skill has been practised a while, more detail can be added in.

In my personal life, I no live in Larne, Northern Ireland - having moved to Ireland with my wife in 2009. My hobbies include gardening and reading.
