Send me a message with any questions or queries and I’ll get back to you ASAP!

Best wishes,

My name is Nicolas, and I'm an English teacher with eight years of teaching experience. I've spoken English since I was a teenager and have continued to practice it through my many travels. My level was further improved during an extended stay in Canada. In 2018, I passed the TEFL Cambridge exam, the English as a Foreign Language Teaching Certificate.

Having also gone through the process of learning to speak this language, I am well aware of the different stages my students go through. This helps considerably.

My courses are custom-built to achieve personal goals and are adapted to the specific needs of each individual.

Practice is prioritized throughout the learning process to foster independence as quickly as possible. Basic grammar and vocabulary concepts are also covered, depending on the student's level.

This course is aimed at:
- Beginners (basics, conversation, travel);
- Intermediate/advanced (improvement, exam preparation: TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC);
- Professionals (business English, interview preparation).

Feel free to contact me for more information.

With pleasure :)

Marie-Christine

Initially, I listen to the student to understand their current level with the language, their relationship to it. To identify their difficulties, strengths and weaknesses. And how they envision and view language as a tool.
Then I evaluate it on several aspects: oral, written, and oral comprehension.
Then I determine a program based on the difficulties and shortcomings identified.
I explain to him what I have noticed and what I propose we work on, and if he or she agrees.

Do you want to improve your English or get help with your homework? I offer personalized support tailored to the needs and pace of each student.

I create a supportive and motivating learning environment to help students progress with confidence. Whether it's reviewing the basics, reinforcing specific concepts, or preparing for a test, I adapt to each student's goals.

During the sessions, we can work on:

Grammar and conjugation
The vocabulary
Reading and listening comprehension
Written and oral expression
Homework help
Preparing for tests and exams

My goal is to help each student develop their English skills while gaining confidence in their abilities.

Courses designed for primary and middle school students ✨

I have been an English teacher for three years, with experience teaching children and adults, both privately and in language schools. I have completed specialized training in teaching beginners, which allows me to tailor my lessons to each student.

I am patient and attentive, and I create a pleasant and motivating learning environment. My goal is for each student to progress with confidence, speaking and understanding English clearly and practically.

My courses are designed for beginners and intermediate levels (A1-B1), for both children and adults. I emphasize a practical and communicative approach, with exercises and activities based on real-life situations. Each session is structured yet flexible, adapted to your pace and goals, so you can use English in everyday life right from the start.

I also emphasize living English, with different accents, common expressions and a bit of slang, so that you understand and speak real and natural English, and discover British and American culture.

Hello,
I offer business English lessons for those who are interested. First, I consider my clients' needs. I follow a formal curriculum: the lessons are based on listening comprehension, reading, and conversation. The lessons are enhanced with visuals, videos, presentations, texts, reports, and more.

Hi! I’m a native English speaker and CELTA-qualified teacher, and I love helping people feel more comfortable and confident speaking English.

Before moving back to Geneva, I worked with NGOs in Greece supporting refugees and asylum seekers. As part of my work, I taught English to people from many different backgrounds and levels, as well as managing community programmes and volunteers. I really enjoyed the teaching side of my work — especially getting to know people individually and seeing their confidence grow.

That's why I prefer one-to-one lessons. I want our lessons to feel less like a traditional classroom and more like a relaxed conversation where you can practise, ask questions and learn at your own pace.

We can focus on whatever is most useful for you. Maybe you understand English quite well but find it difficult to speak. Maybe you need English for work, want to prepare for an interview, or simply want to feel more confident having conversations with English speakers. Or perhaps you just want someone to practise with regularly.

I'm friendly, patient and happy to adapt the lessons to you. Making mistakes is completely fine — that's how you learn! If you have a particular goal in mind, feel free to get in touch and tell me a little about what you'd like to improve.

Would you or your child benefit from extra support with English at school? These personalised lessons are designed to reinforce classroom learning, improve understanding and help students approach their English studies with greater confidence.

With over five years of teaching experience in and out of the classroom across different countries, I understand the importance of adapting explanations and activities to each learner's needs.

Lessons can cover grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, spelling, sentence structure and speaking skills. We can review topics covered in class, work through difficult concepts, practise exercises and prepare for upcoming assessments.

Rather than simply completing homework together, my aim is to help students understand the material and develop the skills to work more independently. I'll adapt my approach to their age, current level and learning objectives, creating a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions.

Parents can also share the areas their child finds challenging so that lessons can be planned around their specific needs.

The goal is to strengthen English skills, build confidence and help students make steady progress in their schoolwork.

Chinese for children—an introductory language program designed to help kids build a solid foundation in Chinese during their prime years for language acquisition, thereby equipping them with an additional linguistic skill and greater future opportunities.

Do you want to improve your English or French, speak with more confidence, or benefit from personalized academic support?
