I studied music at ACM (Academy of Contemporary Music) in England. I had the privilege of working in collaboration with the producer of Depeche Mode, guitarist of Stevie Wonder, David Bowie, ..

In October 2022, I was invited to play in Tahiti. During this stay, I had the honor of being able to record guitars in the studio for a piece co-written by Patrice Guirao (Céline Dion, Johnny Hallyday, Calogero, Florent Pagny, The 10 Commandments, Mozart Opera Rock,..) .

About Me

I always adapt my classes according to the objective or the wish of the student. Music theory is not required to learn and make music. 95% of my students (even old ones) do not want to learn it.
We learn either your favorite tracks, or to improvise, to play in groups, ..
Many of my students have joined bands and do concerts from time to time.
I even have a student who returned to the conservatory this year! 🥳

Why do I like giving classes?
Simply because seeing that I was able to share my passion and experience to my students and see them blossomed in the music is just magical.
Some of my former students even give lessons now. It's just great 😊

I have started to play when I was 6 with classical music, but since then I have studied and played in very different styles and formations (jazz, blues, rock, reggae, funk etc). Nowadays I play classical and jazz music mainly but I am also member of a rock band and a pop formation, and from time to time I make a trip to play blues, funk, reggae, folk or any type of music really, because every one of them has its own "secrets ingredients" what I love.

Besides that, I give private lessons for adults and kids for more than a decade. I deeply believe in that and my experiences tell me: everyone can be taught to play on guitar. My name is Francisco, I am an Argentinian guitarist currently living in Brussels. I am finishing my studies at the conservatory (KCB), but I have been playing for most of my life and teaching privately and in music academics for a few years already.
Although my main focus musically is in jazz and improvisation in general, I am also into funk, blues, rock, pop, indie and folk.

I’m a sound engineer, music producer, and DJ with a degree from Point Blank Music School (London) and more hours logged at Le Zéro Studio in Brussels than I care to admit. I’ve produced, mixed, and mastered across genres — from rap to electronic to “what the hell is this but it slaps.”
I'm also working on my solo project, if you want to check the proof in the pudding ("imyraj" on all platforms).

In practice:
Lessons take place in my home studio in Rixensart. I can also give lessons online, but I prefer face-to-face lessons so that I can easily guide the student and clearly hear (and see) all the nuances of what is being played. I mainly use the interactive music notation platform soundslice.com to share my scores. The scores, tablature and guitar methods are synchronised with the original tracks or learning videos, either tailor-made or from great masters and available on YouTube. It is possible to loop sections, slow down passages as desired, gradually speed up, keep a practice calendar to see when you have worked and motivate yourself to move forward. It really is a learning tool that I wish I had had when I was younger. ;-)

I also encourage everyone to get a small keyboard so they can practice harmony in a practical way on the piano, which allows them to break out of their guitar habits and become better musicians with a multidisciplinary understanding of music.
