About Me
I started playing the piano around the age of 7. I took classical lessons with private teachers, then I switched to jazz around the age of 15. I wanted to learn to improvise, but my teacher at the time didn't have that culture. I found that classical music (as it was taught) was seriously lacking in freedom and imagination. So I took jazz lessons for 2 or 3 years.
Afterwards, I had various experiences with rock and jazz groups with whom I had the opportunity to do a few concerts.
Following the Willems training (musical pedagogy) that I followed in Lyon and where I discovered the pleasures of choral singing, I practiced singing in a classical choir for 3 years where I had the chance to have some vocal technique lessons with an opera singer.
And then life led me down other paths with the start of IT which bewitched me for a long time and which I have made my profession until today.
After a somewhat chaotic journey, I am now trying to reconnect with what really makes sense to me.

Education
After my Baccalaureate, I studied at the University of Aix-Marseille, where I obtained a degree in applied mathematics. At the same time, I followed a Willems training course at the Lyon school to learn musical pedagogy.
Experience / Qualifications
I did a lot of tutoring, initially to finance part of my studies and then later as a professional activity. I had tried to set up a musical garden - an experiment which unfortunately did not succeed. Then I branched out into IT, I did computer music of course, and quite a bit of graphic design. Although I did not study in this field, I have always been interested in psychology and pedagogy during my various activities.

With a classical and jazz background, I studied music pedagogy at the Willems School in Lyon. After a few years of tutoring and a long career in IT, I returned to my first loves of piano and teaching.
In my practice, I combine body rhythms, singing, music theory, improvisation, reading and writing, all in connection with the piano to which I add all sorts of exercises to loosen the fingers and acquire harmonious gestures.
The goal is to have fun while progressing and learning new things.
