About Me
My name is Leonardo, and I am an Italian native speaker currently living in Kraków. I have an academic background in Art History and Cultural Heritage, and I have studied and lived in different European countries, including Italy, Spain, and Poland. This international experience has made me very aware of how important languages are, not only for communication, but also for understanding people, culture, and everyday life.
My classes are based mainly on full-immersion conversation. I believe that the best way to learn a language is to use it actively, in a natural and relaxed context. Of course, I always adapt my method to the student’s level, goals, and personality. With beginners, I introduce vocabulary, basic grammar, pronunciation, and simple conversation step by step. With intermediate or advanced students, I focus more on fluency, confidence, listening, idiomatic expressions, and real-life communication.
During the lessons, I try to create a friendly and trusting atmosphere, where students feel free to make mistakes and improve without pressure. I can also include topics related to Italian culture, art, history, travel, literature, food, and everyday life, depending on the student’s interests.
My goal is not only to teach Italian rules, but to help students feel comfortable using the language in real situations.

Education
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Cultural Heritage Studies from the University of Tuscia in Viterbo, where I graduated with honors. My studies focused mainly on art history, archaeology, cultural heritage, and historical research.
I am currently completing a Master’s Degree in Art History, with a specialization in Medieval Art, at the University of Siena. During my academic path, I have also taken part in Erasmus study experiences in Spain and Poland, which allowed me to develop a strong international perspective and improve my ability to communicate and study in multilingual environments.
My education has given me a solid cultural background, especially in Italian art, history, and heritage. I often use this background in my language lessons, especially when students are interested in learning Italian through culture, art, travel, or history.

Experience / Qualifications
I am an Italian native speaker and I hold C2-level language certifications in both English and Spanish. Thanks to my academic and international background, I am used to working in multilingual environments and explaining Italian through English or Spanish when needed.
I have around five years of experience working with students of different ages and levels. During this time, I have helped learners improve their conversation skills, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and confidence in using the language. I adapt my teaching approach according to each student’s needs, whether they are complete beginners, intermediate learners, advanced speakers, or students preparing for exams or specific goals.
My experience with students of various ages has taught me the importance of patience, clarity, flexibility, and trust. I always try to make lessons useful, engaging, and suited to the personality and objectives of each learner.
