Hi there! My name is Janik, I'm a certified native English tutor from London UK with over 5 years of teaching experience. I moved to Hong Kong in 2018 and since then I’ve taught English privately, for centers and schools which has given me experience in teaching different curriculums such as: Cambridge courses, GESE, Letterland, Phonics, Creative writing, General English and Business English.

I've also had the opportunity to teach a variety of age groups which has helped me to become a more adaptable teacher, for example creating detailed lesson plans that meet the needs of specific students, as well as create my own teaching resources to help students improve their English skills. My goal or teaching philosophy is to encourage students to enjoy learning English first and I do this by combining various English teaching techniques and interactive games with different subjects, which keeps the lessons interactive and enjoyable for young students.

I have been teaching both speech and public speaking for about 3 years, transforming students from ages 5 to 14 to stand on the stage and perform a poem or deliver a speech to a large crowd.
This class will guide students to understand the poem, write a speech expressing their passion or concerns and able to deliver a poised and charismatic performance.
