I am Pamela, a certified English and Kiswahili, online tutor. I have been teaching both online and offline for 5 years. I have been able to interact with and teach students from all walks of life. I teach both beginners, intermediate and advanced students business English, Preparing for exams and general conversation. I am a trained journalist, with a bachelor's degree in Journalism and Media studies. I am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in education and French language. In addition, I have Adult Literacy Program which involves Basic English, Mathematics, Swahili and Business Studies. My lessons are home- based; at the learner's residence, two (2) hours per day. Grammar is essential for everyone and there is a need to sharpen it from a young age. Hence for the beginner level students get to learn vowels, pronunciations, greetings, consonants how to read and write in Swahili and English. East Africa has great and amazing visitation sites and hence visitors are attracted. Swahili is commonly used in the region and for that reason I teach students the basics of Swahili to get to understand and feel confident and comfortable when speaking it. The students get to learn to be confident in their grammar for both school work and for their interactions. I provide handouts in order for the students to understand and practice their skills fully.
