I specialize in tutoring students doing British National curriculum at IGCSE level and Advanced level in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. To be effective in the limited time of interaction with the learners, I assign tasks during the lessons and home assignments to be completed after the lessons. Most of tasks and assignments are aligned to help learners familiarize with the assessment design used by Pearson Education and CIE systems.

Learners who find learning at home more convenient, have the opportunity to cover everything that otherwise been covered in regular schooling. My tutoring includes conducting core experiments that do not necessarily require laboratory set up and also virtual simulations for experiments that require lab environment. Do worry everything that happens in school will be covered.

Graduated with a master's degree in Earth Sciences and another in IT development, I am currently available in Nairobi to give private lessons in all scientific subjects (math, physics, chemistry, SVT, computer sciences) from the 6th grade to the 12th grade (any option). Classes can be given in French or English depending on preferences. I have many teaching experiences.

I teach physics with the aim of explaining from first principles and building up to advanced knowledge. My goal is to help students understand the topics to the point where they become second nature. I do not focus on any examination system - physics is the same all over the universe!

I bring personality and can-do attitude: high-energy, intense, and highly motivated. I work with a spirit of urgency, but I am also ready at any moment to ease up, relax, crack jokes, and take a quick break from the pressure of test prep.

My philosophy towards test prep is easily summarized: “Help students significantly improve their SAT and/or ACT scores, while providing a great experience to students & parents.” I appreciate that teenagers are all unique and interesting personalities! I tailor each lesson to each student, even depending on how the kids are feeling that day. I utilize a mix of highly-tested strategies and total content mastery to open students’ eyes to the secrets of the SAT/ACT.

But, on test day, students have to do the work themselves. Therefore, everything I teach in lessons is based around a solid core of personal practice, homework assignments, and grinding out practice problems.
