My focus is always understanding the problems and hurdles my student faces in their understanding of a specific subject. I always get to know my students, and my reassuring style is what gives them the confidence to speak more fluently. I keep parents up to date on their child's progress, and I give mini assessments on an ongoing basis. On class I will focus on reading, writing ,understanding and speaking

Our need to communicate and relate with the world has increased and so, in order to be able to feel confident with it, we need the right tools and methods. Have you ever been keen on one particular language and willing to learn it? Are you a student struggling to understand your teacher tasks and to get a good grade? Would you like to get better at English as a second language (speaking, writing, reading and listening)? I could be the answer to all these questions.

The teaching method of a language is supposed to change according to each student. The reason why you decided to learn italian will help me to create a suitable programme for you. In any case, practise is the most important aspect, that's why during my lesson, after an explanation of the grammatical rules, we will focus on the usage of the language itself by listening, speaking, reading and conversation exercises. After few lessons you'll be able to express yourself and every lesson will be a concrete improvement of all your language skills.

I am an Egyptian native speaker and I teach standard and Egyptian colloquial Arabic. I have taught for a year at Johns Hopkins University in Bologna, Italy in 2014. I have had the chance to teach students from Europe, Asia and the US. This gave me a deeper understanding of dealing with students who have different accents. In the last 2 years, I have been teaching students and adults in London. Recently, I finished my Master’s in Film Directing at Central Saint Martins and I am currently doing my PhD in Film Studies in London. I see languages as a form of art that creates a way of understanding each other. I like to teach the language in a creative way that makes my students feel comfortable and eager to learn more. I enjoy working with students from different backgrounds. I am familiar with different textbooks (e.g. Al-Kitaab, Alif Baa and Ahlan wa Sahlan) and can adapt to the student’s level and what he/she needs to focus on.

I have taught Italian, History and Philosophy for many years in the Italian State schools. Now I am attending a PhD at KCL.. In my classes I can meet the requests of both the student who wants to practice the language in a guided conversation, an the student who wants a more formal course where he/she can learn proper grammatical structures. In both cases , depending on the availability of the student, I can assign homework , which I will correct during the following lesson.
