German is a complex language with difficult grammar and pronunciation. Because it’s my first language, I am confident that I can help the students to improve their grades as best as possible. I test vocabularies regularly and try to make the grammar understandable on the basis of exercises. Social studies as well as science of education persist both of many theories and philosophy. Sometimes it is hard to understand these theories or to memorise them for an upcoming test. I want to make the theories more practical to the student by using examples to explain them. I’d test them regularly by asking for the most relevant facts. Moreover math is also quite difficult for some students to understand. I already gave math tutor classes for students and it’s very helpful to just make as many exercises and examples as possible and in doing so explaining problems and raising questions. Test preparation is a special field of education which isn’t really taught in school, although it’s very important for the students to know. It is all about motivation and finding the best method how to learn. Besides, time management and organisation as well as still having time for leisure activities is crucial. I figure this out together with the students preferences and personalities to get the most out of the test prep time.

I'm Lucas, 21, currently a Mechanical Engineering student at Imperial College of London! I obtained a bac S (mathematics option) with first class honors in 2017 before entering preparatory class in Physics. I continued my training by integrating the Centrale Lyon school two years ago before joining Imperial this year. I had many high school and preparatory class students during my two years in Lyon. By basing myself on the methods and the fundamental principles of the courses I helped 4 pupils to obtain their bac with honors. One of my students even went from an 8 average in physics in her first semester before getting 19 on the day of the bac. I operate based on the methods of the different chapters. Too often ignored by teachers, not always understood by students, many exercises are based on the same methods. My goal is for the student to recognize the exercises and their structures which are very similar so that on the day of the test he can say: "This question looks like one that I have already done in exercise, I know how to treat it" I currently live near Hammersmith but I have the possibility of moving to West London. Criminology is a complex and exciting subject delving in to the scientific study of crime, criminals and deviant behaviour. I am a BA (Hons) graduate in Criminology & Criminal Justice and have just completed my MSc in Terrorism and Counter Terrorism. The class will provide an introduction to criminology, it’s underlying theories and touch on special issues such as genocide and state crimes. The study of Terrorism will also be introduced and incorporated with the Criminology teachings. You’ll learn what underpins the study of Criminology in a simplified and engaging way.
