I like to start with the fundamental concepts and build upon them to discover all ranges of phenomena. Since I am a physicist, I like to cultivate my appreciation for science in my students. However, I understand that as parents you may worry that these skills are okay for thinking and arriving at answers and are of little help in actual preparation for the exams. That is why I supplement my classes with rigorous practice problems that help the student develop shortcut techniques in which he/she is confident which results in adequate exam prep.
