I am an American and English-educated graduate, with a BA in Politics from the US and a Masters from the London School of Economics. I have experience tutoring academic English and essay writing for non-native speakers, as well as leading small group classes.
I can help you improve your:
- reading and listening comprehension
- English writing
- speaking abilities
- professional and academic English
- applications for US or UK universities.
Lessons can always be adapted to your needs: whether you want something more relaxed, to focus on a specific subject area, or to practice interviews for university and job applications, I'm here to help!

About Me
Learning languages can be a frustrating, and sometimes boring, endeavour. As a student of Arabic and French, I've taken my share of language classes that didn't work for me. As a teacher, my goal is to make sure that your English classes are engaging, catering to your interests as well as your skill level. I am an outgoing and experienced teacher- a former student once described my early morning politics lesson at LSE as "the only class worth getting out of bed for on a Friday!"

Experience / Qualifications
I have five years of experience tutoring and teaching individuals and small groups at the secondary and university levels, helping non-native English speakers reach their potential in (American and British) English language courses and jobs. I have led one-to-one tutoring sessions, as well as taught on LSE courses with a high number of students for whom English is not their native language.
