With a master's degree in Sinology (KULeuven, 2015), years of professional experience in the field and 6 years of experience in the Chinese Minor bachelor programme and evening courses at VUB, I'm confident that my courses offer an efficient and comprehensive path to Chinese language proficiency. This class provides tailor-made Chinese language courses for any age. By default, the course focusses on oral communication (listening and speaking skills) with a large amount of interaction. Reading and writing is available (and recommended), but optional. As a non-native speaker, I know what it is to learn Chinese at a later age. Textbooks, workbook exercises and additional character writing exercises are included in the price.

I think that the most important part of learning Chinese is actual speaking. Of course, reading, writing and grammar it’s also interesting part of this language, but the Chinese characters won’t save you in the conversation, especially with a wrong pronunciation. The lesson is just about you though and it will depend only on you which part of the language learning will be emphasized and which will stay in th background.
