In this class you will learn how to use your camera's manual settings to take your photography game to the next level.
You will learn the importance of Aperture, ISO, and Shutter Speed and how these affect each other and your image. We will also cover your camera's metering modes and how to use these to get correct exposure. Lastly we will explore how different focusing modes work and when to use them and the importance of white balance.

About Me

I am an experienced photographer and photo retoucher with over 10 years of experience messing around with cameras, during this time I have worked on feature films, shot fashion magazine covers, and done headshots for dozens of actors. I absolutely love taking photos and I'd love to pass my knowledge skills and hopefully passion on.
Whether you've never had any experience using a camera with a manual setting or you're looking to build upon your current knowledge, I'm sure I can help you take better photos and edit them to be even better still.

Crystillizing your own expression, borrowing technicall concepts from masters.

I specialize in tutoring math and English for school and the SAT, GED, GRE and GMAT exams. My goal is to keep students challenged, but not overwhelmed. I assign homework after every lesson and provide periodic progress reports.
This class is for aspiring home cooks. The focus is to learn how to cook five very simple and healthy recipes for yourself and your family. You'll learn a variety of cooking techniques to cut down on costs and time in a relaxed and fun cooking environment. If you are an absolute beginner, don't worry, my eight-year-old son is able to make most of these recipes.

Learn the tools of Photoshop & Lightroom with a graduate student of Photography at the Royal College of Art in London. Practice basic skills, retouching, colour grading and photo manipulation. Tutoring lessons tailored for anyone from a complete beginner to advanced level.

We can also work on editing your own images so you have a finished set of photos to share at the end of the lesson.

Gregor holds an Master’s in Photography from the Royal College of Art, London (EN), where he was a Burberry Design Scholar. His works have been exhibited internationally at venues including New Contemporaries 2026, Tate Late, and IDFA DocLab, as well as Sónar+D Barcelona. He is an alumnus of the ISCP Residency New York and a 2025 FLAMIN Fellow at Film London.

The aim, depending on the students knowledge of photography, is to enhance their knowledge and skills to a level that they are happy enough to venture on the the world of imagery on their own. I can give you, the student some advice from my previous experience in the field and from my previous education (Masters Degree), on equipment, tips and tricks to what is in my opinion best suited to your needs and budget.

Or if you have a basic understanding but would like to master your exposure, get more creative with your images, use priority modes and understand how to read an image using your photographic histogram. We can look into different ways to create interesting compositions for your images. I am a fully qualified teacher with full QTS and a master's in Global Creative and Cultural Industries. I take an inquiry-based approach to my teaching and specialize in observational drawing, critical thinking, relief printing, oil painting, and both analog and digital photography. I have taught in mainstream schools, academies, FE centres, pupil referral units, galleries, theatres and youth justice settings. I was commissioned as the first-ever Artist in Residence at the UK Houses of Parliament and now work out of my own Arts council funded studio in SE1.
