Wine Appreciation- command the basics to understand the world of wine
From 78.78 C$ /h
There are many different tastes and flavours of wine and it's difficult to know which wine styles fit where if we don't learn it. So, take this opportunity to start from the basics and work your way through how and why wines suit different palates and occasions. You will learn all the inside knowledge of where best to spend your money, how to spot a good value wine and what they all taste like before you've even opened the bottle.
The classes include
ReWINEd- what makes wines different and what styles are out there
Taste Buddies- why do we all have personal preferences and which ones suit what palate
TasteFace- how wine works with other flavours and food
Reading the label- start knowing the taste of a wine before opening the wine
SipPop- know about Sparkling Wine
Or pick any country and grape variety we explore in detail- we will be going through these as part of the course if you want to take the full course.

About Me
I’ve worked in wine and spirits since finishing university in 2006. Straight after graduation, I took myself off to Australia for some sunshine, and along the way, ended up working in a winery. I had no idea that work could be so fun, educational, and delicious. On returning to the UK, I got a job working at The Sampler and have never looked back.
I love wine. Making it, developing it, learning about it, tasting it, talking about it, and of course, drinking it.
I’ve always wanted to share this love with others in a way that makes them love wine in the same way too. So that’s why I started SipSoc.
I’ve taken my 10 years of experience working in the trade and as a specialist wine trainer and developed a modern view and teaching style. Whether you’ve never been to a tasting or have your own private cellar, come along, try some great wines, learn something new, and have a laugh whilst doing so.
