Hello! I teach private piano lessons to adults and children at all levels. My methods of teaching varies on each individual. I generally start to focus on music theory, techniques, repertoire and understanding music emotionally using dynamics, feeling, touch and hearing skills. The emotional part of music is very prominent when I teach, it is very important for the student to enjoy what they're learning and to also have access to be able to express themselves through music. Some students are better at learning by ear, improvising and composition, some other students are better with music theory and learning repertoire. Depending on the student, I usually work on their strengths to keep their interest and eventually move on to the more difficult aspects of music and learning how to play the piano! Musicians health is also a part of my teaching methods. It is very important to approach music with a relaxed attitude mentally and physically especially to prevent any future injuries!
