You often spend time behind your computer, sound modules, synths or MIDI devices to create solid beats, a hypnotic groove, dreamy soundscapes or a compelling story. In short, you've been bitten by electronic music. You want to take your sound to a higher level, but you still have questions about the quality of your sound, live performance, synthesizers, music theory, increasing listenership, acoustics, about your software, etc... What do I offer? - Lessons on the following Digital Audio Workstations (DAW): Reason Studios, Ableton Live, Reaper, Fruity Loops - Lessons about sound synthesis (Sound Design) via synthesizers, drum machines and effects - General guidance/coaching in overcoming the obstacles associated with producing (e.g. knowledge about mixing, mastering, modular setup, music theory, computer/laptop needs, acoustics and psychoacoustics, mental challenges, ...) Study of Dutch language, informal language, formal language and, if desired, professional correspondence, spoken and written, and of course, understanding. The classes are tailor-made, according to the student's wishes, needs and interests. The theory is given or repeated, followed by exercises as necessary. This is all in an enjoyable manner, music or movies can be used for teaching, all depending on the student. I come to your home, or you can come to my home in Tremelo. Online is possible if required by distance.

I've been playing the piano since I was 10. But at the music academy I learned piano in a very scholastic way. We always had to learn scores, which you spend a lot of time on, and once you could do it perfectly, you already had to switch to another piece. I got tired of this and started improvising. I now make my own songs and I prefer to play the piano more than ever before. I would like to share this with other people as well. I do this in combination with solfège, so that everyone has the basics. The lessons consist of 70-80% solfège and piano pieces (I work with piano books) and then we conclude with 20-30% improvisation. Improvisation is experienced by all my students as the most enjoyable part of the lesson.
