If you’re looking to help your child feel comfortable and confident speaking in front of others, my public speaking program is designed just for that. Drawing on my experience in Model United Nations and student leadership, I focus on helping kids speak naturally and authentically, rather than turning this into a grammar class.

Our sessions emphasize clear, organic communication—so kids learn to organize their thoughts, speak with confidence, and engage an audience without feeling scripted. Through a mix of activities tailored to their age, we’ll practice speaking techniques that make public speaking feel more like a conversation, not a formal lecture.

In addition to in-class activities like role-playing and group discussions, I’ll encourage them to practice outside the classroom too, whether through creating fun presentations or recording short talks. This class is all about developing a child’s unique voice and giving them the tools they need to speak comfortably and naturally in front of any group.

About Me

I’m Shraavan, and I’m excited to offer tutoring in Economics, MS Excel, and Public Speaking—subjects that I not only enjoy but also have experience explaining in a clear, approachable way.

In Economics, my goal is to simplify complex concepts and make them relevant to students’ interests. I completed my degree in Economics with honors and had the chance to study at the London School of Economics, but I believe that understanding Economics goes beyond theory. My approach is grounded in practical examples and interactive discussions, helping students feel comfortable with topics that might initially seem daunting.

For MS Excel, I aim to make this tool less intimidating and more accessible. Whether it’s creating basic spreadsheets or exploring some advanced functions, I enjoy showing students how Excel can be a powerful tool for organizing, analyzing, and presenting information.

Public Speaking is a skill I’ve developed through roles in student councils and societies. I understand that speaking in front of others can feel overwhelming, so my focus is on creating a supportive environment where students can build their confidence step-by-step. We can work on structuring speeches, conveying ideas clearly, and handling nerves, so they feel more at ease with any audience.

I’m here to support each student’s unique needs and make learning as engaging and stress-free as possible. I look forward to helping others gain confidence in these subjects!

Therefore, Spanish, being one of the most popular language, becomes an important tool. In order to speak it, the class is composed by grammar, vocabulary, listening and speaking. Depending on the time and frequency, the student will be be able to articulate thoughts and write them.
It is vital that the language is spoken, hence, depending on the student’s level, the class will be provided in Spanish and English (swapping when necessary).

STRUCTURE OF THE LESSONS:

I build my lessons through a communicative approach maximising the use of the target language.
My lessons are usually task-based and centred around practical functions.
During each lesson, we will always work on four different skills such as speaking, listening, reading and writing, using a great variety of teaching materials reflecting real-life situations.
