I am Mara, a native speaker from Spain. I love teaching! I have been doing so for more than ten years! I started during my bachelor when I helped students with subjects like maths or biology. Then, when I left Spain, I started teaching Spanish to people from all around the globe, all with different levels and ages. From students and my own experience, I discovered that we all learn in different ways. So, during my classes, I adapt my material to each of my students’ needs and requirements. My classes are dynamic and fun. I enjoy each one and try my best to make them enjoyable for my students too.

About Me
I am Mara, native Spanish speaker. At the moment I am finishing my PhD at UTAS, but I would love to stay in Tasmania, as it is a wonderful place. I love teaching and I have been doing so for 6 years. I have the great opportunity to teach students from all around the world in my face-to-face and online classes. I enjoy each of my classes and try my best to make it enjoyable for my students too.
I had to learn a language myself, so I am aware of the challenges of the process. My experience also showed me that each person has his/her own way of learning. So I try to adapt each of my classes to each of my students needs.I use videos, audio, conversation, and plenty of materials to make the process of learning dynamic and fun!
