I would be happy to help you learn Japanese, starting from the very beginning, with the kana writing system, along with grammar, vocabulary, listening and speaking.
I have a BA and MA in Japanese language studies, as well as a teaching degree. I am also a certified trainer and I have many years of experience teaching Japanese, either 1:1 or in small groups.

About Me

I learned Japanese from scratch at University, as this was my major. I really enjoyed learning in a systematic way, with structured lessons that include a bit of everything.
Therefore that is also how I approach my classes. Each class starts with checking homework, recap, then moving to additional exercises or a new lesson.
As the Japanese language cannot be separated from the culture, I will also give you an insight in their history and culture, both traditional and modern.
And last but not least, each student has their own pace and learning style and together we can find the best approach for you.

Education

I have a BA and MA in Japanese studies from the Bucharest University in Romania. I also have a teaching degree from the same university and I am a certified trainer.

Experience / Qualifications

I taught Japanese at a private school for 1 year, and I also provided tutoring for almost 7 years. I prefer working with students 1:1 or in small groups of maximum 4 students.
