I can offer basic phonic and handwritting lessons. Great for key stage 1 children or anyone learning English from the very start with handwriting lessons. I work in a primary school and worked with children from age 4 years old to 11 years old. Phonics would be a great subject for children 4, 5 and 6 years old.

Help understand key parts of history. If learning for GCSE's or other classes I will speak with you about the course you need help with and help you to achieve the grades you want. If you want to learn more about history in general, all you need to do is specify which part of history and we will take it from there.

Piano, singing and music theory lessons for all ages and abilities. Lessons taught for fun or to achieve qualifications. Lessons are taught by Chris, an experienced pianist and singer who has studied music from the age of 4. Preferably, lessons will be taught at the student’s home (with COVID safety measures in place). Music theory can be taught over webcam if the student requests. It is preferable that piano is not taught over webcam, however, this option can be considered should the student request. It is not advised that singing is taught over webcam due to the poor sound quality on webcam. Chris has a special interest in singing for musical theatre as he has performed professionally in musicals and currently manages a professional musical theatre touring group. He also works as a freelance musical director. Chris’ work hasn’t gone unnoticed. He has had a number of complimentary reviews with his most recent comment being from columnist of the Times newspaper and former theatre critic, Ann Treneman, where she stated Chris is “a brilliant pianist”.

Building confidence is essential. It has an impact for everyday life such as your communication skills, and presentational skills. This course will help you to improve areas in your presentational and communication skills. The course will also help you as a bonus if you are a media student. I have currently done media for two years now, and I want to be able to help students out there who are also wanting to pursue their studies in mass communication. It is a great way to understand reality better, and from a perspective of someone who has experience in this field.

I specialise in tutoring Math and English for students in KS1 up to GCSE. I am a qualified teacher and have experience of working in a range of schools with a variety of different pupils.
