About Me

I start from the needs of the students and base myself on their prerequisites to make them evolve towards an established goal. I work a lot in the dialogue to see where the student is and to identify the material that needs to be (re) worked.

My first philosophy is that in order to learn a language you have to speak it as much as you can and therefore dare to take initiatives. (Registering for a class is already one!)

Education

- I followed 7 years of Spanish lessons in Verviers via the Spanish Embassy because my father is Spanish.
- I followed the option of strong languages (4h of English, 4h of Dutch and 2h of Spanish per week) during my secondary education at Royal Marie Thérèse College of Herve.
- I am in the 2nd year of my bachelor's degree at the HELMo Holy Cross in Germanic languages to become a teacher in English and Dutch.

I come from Costa Rica and have lived in Belgium with my family for 10 years. Spanish is my mother tongue.

I have a solid professional experience in the private, public and associative sector.

I juggle with different methodologies depending on the context of the course and especially the objectives to be achieved. I taught at the university, at Ifapme, in the associative sector (training and remediation), within companies as well as to individuals with very different objectives such as studies, a move to Spain, a travel to Latin America or simply learning a new language for fun or sharing and improving knowledge in the context of group conversation tables for example...

In any case, I manage to awaken the motivation and interest of my students thanks to a dynamic, creative and communicative approach.

I have a master's degree in economic and social planning with an emphasis on project management as well as a bachelor's degree in administration (National University of Costa Rica).

I am a native Spanish speaker and these Spanish courses are developed depending on the student. If l'élève learns Spanish or knows it, we will continue with the manuel scolaire and ajouterons beaucoup d'oraux.
