I’m currently living in Finland, but I was born and raised in Japan, and I’ve also spent time living in Canada and Ireland.

Hello! I'm Yurina, a native Japanese speaker originally from Ishikawa Prefecture. I lived in Tokyo for 8 years before starting my journey abroad.

I spent 4 months in Finland on a working holiday, and I am currently staying in London. In addition, I have lived in Canada and Ireland for one year each, where I studied English and enjoyed cultural exchange through working holiday programs.

I love traveling, learning about different cultures, and spending time at anime events, music concerts, or simply watching a good movie.

I was born in Japan and I've lived in Espoo since I got married with Finnish husband. My occupation is writer as freelance writing about any field. Mainly I make magazine for customer in accounting Software Company. Before I become a freelance writer, I'd worked in advertising agency as sales promotion planner. Ever wanted to learn Japanese but felt too overwhelmed with all the different alphabet and grammar? Let's make learning Japanese fun together in a personalized way! My teaching focuses on your own interests which I believe will make your language learning feel a bit more effortless and fun.

I will give you a strong foundation for the start of your Japanese language journey. I can introduce beginners the different alphabets used in the Japanese language, basic vocabulary and ways to form sentences. I will also give tools to make learning Japanese easier!

For more intermediate learners I can give tools to break the possible barrier of learning Kanji and help to start to think about pitch accent in the Japanese language.
