About Me

Hi! I am a musician, engineer, composer, producer, songwriter and educator living and working in London. I work in varied areas of the music industry and have a abroad working knowledge of all areas, from writing pop songs, to composing for orchestra, from mixing a live band to recording drums for a hip hop beat. I have my own professional studio space in NW London where I can deliver 1-2-1 tuition in guitar, engineering, production, mixing, DAW workshops, recording and composition. I regularly lecture at several prestigious universities, including University of West London, BIMM London, Point Blank and ACM. I have also just completed an MA in Composing for TV and Film. All of which means I am used to working at a very professional level and have a huge amount of resources and experience to call upon, making my classes in-depth, professional and related to industry practises. But overall, I am a massive music nerd, I love all types of music and am incredibly passionate about everything that goes into making the art.

I specialise in teaching music composition, production, and piano. I have a BA from the University of Oxford in Music, and I am a professional TV and Film composer. I am also able to teach music theory, history, and ear training.

My goal is to create lessons that help my students to get an interactive, un-intimidating, and fun filled musical education. I believe that this comes from learning not just one area of music, but by giving students the tools to be confident in any musical setting they choose. I teach all ages and levels of musical ability.

Ableton Live is the new standard for electronic music. Its very easy to learn and with only a couple of lessons you will be able to start making your own music! Used by almost all EDM, House, Deep House and even Pop artists it is the must-have tool in the new decade. In our classes we will go over making beats, basic music theory, song-writing techniques and production techniques including advanced sound design with synthesizers. If requested, we can also move on to mixing to make your tracks sound just like what you hear on the radio.

I specialize in Ableton Live and have released albums on multiple record labels. I hold a degree in Music Production and Sound Engineering from Point Blank Music School and I am currently the Music Content Manager at Vochlea Music and the lead Ableton tutorial writer for Attack Magazine. I also own my own recording and production studio in East London.

My name is Aoibheann, I am originally from Ireland but have been living in London almost 2 years. I am a piano teacher who has studied piano for over 12 years. I have studied Grade 8 Piano and Music Theory. I have also studied at an undergraduate level in Music. I have a patient, fun, and enthusiastic approach to teaching, having taught adults and children it is vital to create a safe environment built on mutual respect.
My main interests in teaching is helping students create a love for playing and nurturing that through playing pieces they will love. Hey! My name is Seán, and I am an Irish singer-songwriter based in London with 2 years of teaching experience. I teach a range of disciplines, including piano, guitar, vocals, songwriting, and music theory. Having taught students of all ages and different levels of musicianship, I am pleased to say that I have built long-lasting relationships with many of my students. With an emphasis on creativity and student input; my lessons allow students to discover their own playing style and musical direction.

I studied music production at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) under the mentorship of King James Britt, and at Abbey Road in London. I am well versed in most audio software (Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Logic Pro X), using all of these in a professional setting for over 5 years.
