About Me
Hi! I’m Carrie, a professional illustrator and digital art instructor with a Master of Fine Arts degree. I’ve been teaching digital art and other tools both in university classrooms and community-based art programs, working with students of all ages.

With a background in fine arts and illustration, I bring a strong foundation in both traditional and digital techniques. I love working with children and believe in creating a warm, supportive environment where every student feels confident to express themselves.

I’m known for being patient, encouraging, and always finding creative ways to connect with young artists. Whether it’s helping a child bring their character to life or guiding them through digital tools step by step, I find so much joy in watching their skills and imagination grow.
Education
I hold a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Fine Arts from California College of the Arts, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Illustration from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA)—one of the top art schools in the U.S. During my studies, I was named to the Dean’s List multiple times for academic excellence.
