The structure and the material of the lesson are formulated based on every pupil and his/her preferences while at the same time it can also be configured according to established music and piano methods. I also love to encourage my pupils to share their passion about specific music styles or pieces with me, in order to include them in the teaching process, by arranging them based on their skills. Important section of the course is the improvisation which aims to the independence of the pupil from the music score, the mastering of technical difficulties but also to the development of pupil’s creative thinking.

Teaching preschool kids (4-6) is always a challenge but through my experience I have formulated a method in which the young pupils approach music with an enjoyful way. Through my guidance they become familiar with rhythm, ear training, singing, playing by heart short melodies with both hands, improvising, and at later stages they get introduced to music notation through games, drawing and other formats.

All piano lessons are taught on a classical piano at my home studio and may take place also at your location.

Hallo! Mijn naam is Myrto en ik ben een pianist en componist uit Griekenland. Sinds 2018 woon ik in Den Haag.

In 2020 heb ik mijn master in muziekcompositie behaald aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium in Den Haag. Mijn muziek is uitgevoerd door ensembles, solisten en orkesten in Griekenland, Nederlands, Frankrijk, Spanje, Italië, België, en de Verenigde Staten.
Daarnaast heb ik deelgenomen aan een aantal multidisciplinaire projecten en samengewerkt met dansers, filmregisseurs, acteurs, schilders en anderen. Naast componeren ben ik ook actief als pianist en toetsenist en heb ik deelgenomen aan verschillende muziekprojecten in Griekenland en Nederland.

Lesgeven:
Ik ben ervan overtuigd dat muziek een expressieve taal is die iedereen zou moeten kunnen leren en gebruiken om te communiceren. Mijn doel als muziekdocent is om u dichter bij deze prachtige wereld te brengen. Ik heb zes jaar ervaring in het lesgeven aan leerlingen van verschillende leeftijden, met verschillende achtergronden, niveaus en stijlen.

Lessen:
De structuur en het materiaal van de les worden afgestemd op elke leerling en zijn/haar voorkeuren, maar kunnen ook worden geconfigureerd volgens gevestigde muziek- en pianomethoden. Ik moedig mijn leerlingen ook graag aan om hun passie voor specifieke muziekstijlen of stukken met mij te delen, zodat ik deze kan opnemen in het lesproces door ze aan te passen aan hun vaardigheden.

**Omdat ik het belang van optreden voor publiek onderken, organiseer ik twee keer per jaar (in december en in juni/juli) een studentenconcert, waar elke leerling de kans krijgt om live op te treden. Deelname wordt sterk aangemoedigd voor alle studenten, maar is niet verplicht.

Hello! My name is Myrto and I am a pianist and composer from Greece and since 2018 I am based in The Hague.

In 2020 I obtained a Masters degree in Music Composition at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. My music has been performed by ensembles, soloists and orchestras in Greece, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium and the United States, while I have participated in a number of multidisciplinary projects and have collaborated with dancers, film directors, actors, painters and others. Besides composing, I am also active both as a pianist and keyboard player and I have been member of various music projects in Greece and the Netherlands.

Teaching:
I truly believe that music is an expressive language that everyone should have the access to learn and communicate through and my goal as a music teacher is to bring you closer to this magnificent world. I have a six years teaching experience with students of diverse age groups, with different backgrounds, levels and styles.

**In recognition of the importance of performing before an audience, I organize a student concert twice annually (in December and in June/July), at which each pupil is given the opportunity to perform live. Participation is strongly encouraged for all students, though it is not compulsory.

I am a French historical and modern horn player based in The Hague. I have played the Horn since I was 4 years old and I have two Master's degrees in modern horn and natural horn. I offer you lessons on modern and historical instruments, as well as music theory.

Hi there! My name is Norica. I am a pianist and a piano teacher from Tokyo.

Just quickly to the point: My approach is holistic and systematic. It uses lots of fun exercises and nice educational materials from Japan in addition to the Internationally recognized standard books. (Don't worry, you don't have to understand Japanese!) You learn not only how to play piano but also how music works- music theory.

I know what my students are good at and not so good at right off the bat. That's why I can tailor the lesson plans to their goals and needs.

Also, if you like to take an ABRSM exam, the syllables will be tailored accordingly. So what will be tested on the day of the exam is integrated into the lessons and my class/lesson offers all-round preparation for the exam. I have helped my students pass G1, 3, 5 and 6 with a good score.

Another important aspect of my lesson is to focus on improving cognitive skills - increasing memory, right-hand-left-hand-coordination, sustained attention, nonverbal communication, and a feeling of independence and freedom.

I do so with unique materials from Japan and fun training.

Currently students from 4 to 75 years old are taking my lessons. As an educator, I am committed to the process of learning while making lessons enjoyable and constructive.

Hi, my name is Galit and I am a professional recorder player.
I have been performing in various ensembles and venues around Europe and Israel, playing baroque, medieval, renaissance and contemporary music which is the vast repertoire of the recorder. I graduated from the Amsterdam Conservatory and the Royal Conservatory of the Hague. Guitar is a very versatile instrument, used in many different genres, including classical music. For me, my journey with it started somewhere in my early childhood, primarily with listening to my mum's playing of folk songs. What amazed me is the power that music has to make people come together and communicate. So at 10, I formally started my individual relationship with the instrument, studying classical guitar, which has given me some of the greatest pleasures in this life, and I hope it will be my source of joy until my dying day. Currently, I am studying Makam music at the Global Music Department of Codarts, Rotterdam. Hi all! My name is Anna Jane, and I am a violinist and teacher based in The Hague. My own musical journey began at age four in Florida with Suzuki training, progressed through classical studies and fiddle jams in Nashville, and culminated in baroque-specific training at The Juilliard School and the Royal Conservatory in The Hague.
