About Me

Well, first of all, I am an engineer with a sales profile. Over 10 years ago I wanted to play and sing my favorite songs with guitar. Now, over 10 years later, after countless performances, studying music theory, composing sessions, and learning over 500 songs in different languages, I'm ready to share my passion and experience with others, helping them discover the joy of music and find their own voice.

My higher education gave me the tools to teach myself guitar effectively. Early on, my live audiences provided valuable feedback, so that I knew, what to develop next. Now, after "mastering" the instrument and its underlying theory, I prioritize making learning fun. I believe musical excellence isn't just about technical skill or encyclopedic knowledge of music theory (even if I myself am an absolute music theory nerd). For me, it's about connecting with the listener on an emotional level – creating beautiful music and a truly captivating atmosphere.

What do I expect from my students? Fun in exploring their musical journey and a rough direction of where they want to go during this process. And an own guitar, perhaps :-D However, if you come to my place you can also have one of my guitars.

RWTH Aachen: Computational Engineering Science (Dipl.-Ing)

I've honed my musical skills through dedicated self-study (sometimes over 12 hours a day), mastering the guitar, music theory, composition, and all the essential elements of the craft. My true measure of success isn't found in grades from a traditional music program, but in the genuine connection I make with a live audience and the feedback I receive.
