Education
Regarding my academic qualification, I have been pursuing a Ph.D. in Physics at the University of Cologne, Germany, since 2023. Quite recently, I obtained my M.Sc. Nanoscience degree (w/ cum Laude) at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. In 2021, I completed my Bachelor's in Physics and Mathematics from Jacobs University Bremen, Germany, with a 1.05 GPA. During my Bachelor's, I took various specialization courses such as Condensed Matter Physics and Devices, Advanced Quantum Mechanics, Elementary Particles and Fields, Advanced Optics, etc.
Experience / Qualifications
- 6+ years of private tutoring for high school and university-level students
- 3+ years teaching assistant at Jacobs University for Bachelor's courses such as Classical Physics, Modern Physics, Analytical Mechanics, and Quantum Mechanics. Additionally, worked as a teaching lab assistant at the University of Groningen for the 'electricity and magnetism' course. Currently, I am also working as a teaching lab assistant at the University of Cologne for a master's course in condensed matter.
- Organized MINT workshop in Physics for high school students around the Bremen area
- Actively involved in Physics and Math societies during my studies
- Participated in the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO 2016, Switzerland and Liechtenstein) and the University Physics Competition (UPC 2018, 2019, 2020)

1.4 Rules and theorems for differentiation, power rule, product rule, chain rule
1.5 Derivatives of exp, log, and trigonometric functions
1.6 Implicit differentiation and derivative of inverse functions
1.7 Rolle's theorem, mean value theorem, critical point, maximum/minimum of a function
1.8 First and second derivative tests, inflection points
1.9 Anti-derivative, indefinite integral, integration by substitution, integration by parts
1.10 Definite integral and its application (area between curves, application in physics)\
1.11 Optimization and linear differential equations

2. Linear Algebra:
2.1 Vectors and scalars in Euclidean space, vector arithmetic, scalar product, cross product
2.2 Equations for lines and planes, vector spaces, linear independence, span, basis, dimension

Do you want to prepare for a German exam for a visa application in a German-speaking country such as Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein?

And/or are you a scientist looking to learn German?

If you want to improve your German skills for a career in (natural) sciences or your private life, I will offer you individualised lesson to help you reach your goals. I was born and grew up in Frankfurt am Main in Germany. I am professionally trained from Heidelberg University in biotechnology, including molecular biology, mathematics, physics, biochemistry, medical research and bioinformatics/programming. Moreover, I am trained in psychology + philosophy.

We will tailor the lesson to your needs: whether you want to apply for a job position / visum in Germany or your German certificates, study in a German-speaking country, or expand your language skills to be able to communicate with your partner, friend, or read German books. I offer lessons for all ages and backgrounds.

*********************** GERMAN for VISA application **********************
Depending on the country and type of visum, different requirements apply. In Austria, to obtain the Red-White-Red card, a German level of B1 is required.

Among the institutes providing official certificates are the Goethe Institute of Germany, OESD of Austria, TELC, TestDaF, and many more. If you are unsure which certificate would be suitable for you, I will help you by providing more information for taking the decision.
