For years I have collected colorful peices of glass; from jewelery, serving bowls and platers, dishes, vases, votives, to paper weights. But, I never imagined I could make any of these cherished pieces. With a few basic tools, some fusable glass, and access to a kiln I now make (and sell) jewelry, wind chimes, dishes and bowls of all shapes, sizes, and colors.

I will take you through the process of design and create your uniquely beautiful, 3D pieces of glass art. With a few basic tools, some fusable glass, a design, and access to a kiln you will become proficient in cutting glass, assembling the pieces, and fusing your work into functional piesces of art. (you don't need to purchase a kiln!)

By the end of the course (5-10 hours) you will have created one of the following: 4 coasters, 3 wind chimes, 2 picture frames, 2 small plates, 1 vase, or several pieces of wearable art.

The first class will be an overview of the tools you will need, the type of glass, and the resources to find the best quality and value on these supplies, as will as vendors for jewelry findings and displays holders
